I'm playing vinyl Monday nights on the two turntables at the end of the bar. The sound system was made for the warm and crackly sounds of the black stuff. Drafts are price fairly. And the crowd its cool and yup for the eclectic sounds of the different djs.

I love the bar tender Jason and branden . Jason puts together some of the greatest mixes I have ever seen. Also if u wanna learn how to cook a meal they can both talk food. All around a great atmosphere the lighting in there is just awesome. Its a very relaxed bar with alot of class. I would suggest stopping in there if ur around the neighborhood.

Doesn’t get much cooler than Idle Hour. The setting feels like a movie set from Tarantino or Wes Anderson. High-quality drinks, reasonably priced, hand-shucked free oysters, and simply cool without trying to be. Great Baltimore dive.

Easily the best neighborhood bar in south baltimore. Great vibe. Tons of DJs help create a really great feel. Without a doubt, you should stop in for a drink!

This place is authentic, wonderful and a great time. We were visiting from outside the state and stumbled upon Idle Hour and it did not disappoint. The bar tender was friendly, the drinks are very good, and the music was on fire. A really great place!

Amazingly well curated cocktail list with a focus on chartreuse and may other alternative options. The vibes are excellent and service is spectacular. Can't recommend this place enough.
